WRITING

Writing for stage
For performance, I have written two comedy poetry shows (Don't Bother 2019; Turtle 2022), two sketch comedy shows (Rompers 2023; Laugh Actually 2017) and a one-act play (Flowers and That 2018).
‘Wisdom and profundity seeped through the writing’ North West End
I also acted as a Principal Writer for the BBC Radio Tees Upload Comedy Hour.
I am currently developing a spoken word play - Monkunian, following the coming of age story of a Salford teenager's journey to life in a monastery in Rioja. It has received support from the Royal Court Theatre and The Peggy Ramsay Foundation.
‘Hilarious, honest, and ultimately addictive’ EdFringeReview
‘A star just waiting to be discovered by comedy's top astronomers’ Broadway Baby
Writing for page
In 2022, I was published as a children's author as part of Sophie Willan's collection Tales of the Brave, the Bold, and the Beautiful.
‘Fantastic…highly recommended’ Jacqueline Wilson
My story Cork! follows a boy named Dermot, who reluctantly becomes a world-famous folk singer. Inspired by my Irish heritage, this humorous tale explores the importance of identity and honesty. Think Hannah Montana meets The Dubliners. I am currently developing more short stories for children and am looking to have conversations around publishing a full collection of my work.
In 2020, I self published my debut poetry collection Tiny Badger.

‘I absolutely love this collection’ Alex Wheatle
‘An explosive creativity in action’ Chris Thorpe

Writing for Business
I have also worked as a full time in-house content writer in the B2B sector which is just as fun as writing comedy and poems. I have written blogs, articles for PR circulation, white papers, scripts for promotional videos, webinar scripts, website copy, and everything else a Young Growing Business needs. I am also a Social Media Manager. I do all sorts, man.
